Licensed Practical Nurse New

Pride Health is hiring an LPN/LVN to support our client’s medical facility based in Bloomington, Indiana. This contract opportunity is a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Responsibilities:

• Patient Care: Provide care for patients with chronic medical conditions such as COPD, diabetes, CHF, post-surgical patients, orthopedic, surgical wounds, wound care, pneumonia, COVID, pancreatitis, sickle cell crisis, and chronic pain.
• Types of Cases: Handle cases involving MS/Tele, BH, Hospice, Cardiac Monitoring, Endocrine/Metabolic, Gastrointestinal, Genitourinary/Renal, Neurological, Oncology, Orthopedic, Respiratory, and Skin.
• Unit Information: Fast-paced unit with rapid admission, discharge, and transfer processes.
• Cross-Unit Float: Staff are required to float into the Emergency Department to care for patients who are waiting for inpatient beds.
• Patient Status: Care for Medical-Surgical level of care patients, either in inpatient or observation status.
• Emergency Response: Provide cardiac care and emergency response for patients.
• Charting: Utilize Cerner for charting and documentation.
• Special Requirements: Handle medical conditions such as pneumonia, COVID, and chronic conditions in a high-acuity setting.

Qualifications:

• 5 years of experience in a clinical setting, particularly in MS/Tele.
• BLS Certification required.
• Must have experience with Cerner.
• LTAC and Community Hospital experience required.
• Must have an in-state license or compact license in hand.
• IN residents are not accepted; no pending state

Pay Range: $43.87/hour

*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
